– Do an interior and exterior inventory of your home
-Take pictures of the outside of your home
-Take pictures of every room in your home (open closets, drawers)
-Move your vehicles away from any trees or unsecured structures
-Remove any personal items from your vehicle
-Secure or move outdoor furniture or decorations
– Prepare for 3-7 days with no power or easy access to water
-Prepare one gallon of water per person per day
-Fill bathtubs with water to operate toilets
-Charge phones, computers, tablets
– Bring in pets and have kennels ready if you need to relocate
-Get cash, debit/credit cards will rely on power
