Fogle Insurance Supports North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue

Last month, we held our 3rd Annual Pups & Pints Pet Food Drive at Lost Worlds Brewing in Cornelius in support of North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue. This was our second time hosting the fundraising event at Lost Worlds Brewing and we are so thankful for their hospitality and generosity! Lost Worlds has the perfect space, atmosphere, and patrons to make the event have a welcoming space. As for North Meck Animal Rescue, this is also our second time supporting them through this event and we absolutely love working with them! They do so much for the dogs and cats in the local North Mecklenburg community, so we enjoy getting any chance to help.

Despite the delay and a bit of a rainstorm, the sky cleared and it ended up being a beautiful afternoon! We were so thankful for this turn of events. As the sun warmed things up, more and more people showed up – many with their own pups! North Mecklenburg brought some of the pups from the shelter in hopes of meeting some possible forever parents! They had fun playing with other dogs, sniffing around, and eating the treats we brought for them. One of the pups, Spencer, even got so excited he decided it was a good idea to get onto of the picnic tables! Everyone was very amused. Many of the dogs got a lot of interest and there were applications filled out! We always love to hear this!

This year, we had even more raffle baskets than our previous year – curated by us at Fogle Group and also a few donated by some wonderful and giving local businesses, such as Bella’s Barkuterie and Liz Brady from Lake Realty. We also were gifted many gift cards to include in our baskets to restaurants like Jack’s Corner Tap and Peninsula Prime in Cornelius, Brazwell’s Premium Pub in Charlotte, Brickhouse Tavern in Davidson, Pap Doc’s on Lake Wylie, Table & Board in Cornelius, and Main Street Coffee (Huntersville, Denver, and Cornelius). Through raffle prize donations, we were able to raise over a thousand dollars for North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue, along with an abundance of pet food and supplies! This was the best turnout yet!

We want to thank everyone in the community and any of or clients who came out to support us and North Meck Animal Rescue through donations. It is because of people like you in our community that helps to create a stronger community and lets us keep doing what we love. We look forward to 2024 and another Pups & Pints pet food drive and fundraiser! We hope to see you there!
