PLEASE READ THIS THOROUGHLY, AS SOME DETAILS AND DATES HAVE CHANGED:
Since the announcement by President Obama that you have the option to continue your current plan in place for the next year, some of the deadline dates have changed.
• If you are a BCBSNC customer: this week, you will be receiving (by mail) a renewal offer/new rates to stay on your current plan through 2014.
• If you want to stay on your current plan with the new rates, you need to do nothing. Your current plan will renew on January 1, 2014.
• If you want to make a change to your plan (for example: deductible, coinsurance, etc.), please contact us as soon as possible. Deadline to make changes to your Blue Advantage, Saver or HSA plans is December 23, 2013.
If you are seeking subsidy help from the Federal government, then you must go to www.healthcare.gov and complete the online application process, in order to receive confirmation of subsidy eligibility.
* If you would like us to continue to be your agent, there is a question during the application that must be completed properly with the following information:
The question will read: “Tell us if you’re getting help from one of these people?”

As soon as you have your subsidy confirmation, call us ASAP! Deadline to apply for ACA plans with subsidy help is 12/23/2013.
IMPORTANT: ***If you are an Inclusive Health policy holder, your plan will terminate on 12/31/2013, with no option to renew. Please contact us as soon as possible for us to be able to guide you in picking a plan.
