Fogle Insurance Group aims to stop texting while driving
HUNTERSVILLE – Fogle Insurance Group and Auto-Owners Insurance started a campaign to warn teenagers of the dangers of driving while texting.
Texting while driving increases the risk of an accident by 23.2 times, according to a press release from Fogle Insurance. Texting while driving also results in longer response times than even drunk driving.
Michele Sizemore and her colleagues at Fogle Insurance Group are coordinating with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools to speak to the students in driver’s education classes over the next few months. The group also welcomes the opportunity to speak at private driver’s education classes, church groups or other venues.
Fogle Insurance Group is a local company based in Huntersville. It specializes in all lines of insurance.
